Located in southwestern Ohio, Lakota is the 7th largest school
district in the state, and the largest school district in Butler
County. With two high schools, a freshman school, four junior
schools, ten elementary schools, and four early childhood
schools, Lakota has grown in the last 20 years from a rural
district to a suburban district with student population of over
18,000.

Woodland Elementary
Woodland Elementary is dedicated
to developing the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of
each child in a nurturing learning environment. This sentence
begins our building's mission statement. Proof of this mission
is evident from the classroom activities and musical
performances to the art exhibits and physical fitness endeavors
in which our students participate. Our school is alive with
learning!
